From a Lestyn (a Health & Fitness Show Listener): Hi, I just came across something called the Glycemic Load which is a part of the Glycemic index. I’ve herd of a Low GI diet but nothing about the load. Perhaps you could do a podcast on this subject.
This is where i first came across it
http://kevinrose.com/blogg/2008/8/6/how-i-lost-ten-lbs-in-two-weeks.html
and then I googled it and came across this
http://www.mendosa.com/gilists.htm
If you could simplify all this down it would be great.
What Is GI?
What is beneficial about Low GI foods?
How can it benefit Athletes?
Disease prevention?
Can it really help people lose weight?
Examples of some Low GI Recipes.

Beti:
Thank you for the informative podcast. I just found you on Itunes and started downloading the older podcasts. Your podcast was well presented, with lots of information and useful tips. I was diagnosed with type II diabetes last year. I appreciated your presentation to help me understand the information my doctor previously provided.
