Hi Beti,
I live in the north east of england and just love your podcasts. They’re so interesting and really keep me motivated. The last topic was really interesting and I’m making sure i introduce some tailored work-outs to my schedule as i tend to just do classes. A few months ago i bought a heart rate monitor and it has had such a huge impact on my work outs – i work so much harder. I see you did a podcast on hrm’s a while back – but i was just wondering if you could maybe explain how to get the best out of an hrm, what is the most productive zone to work in to burn calories and is working in a high hr zone dangerous? Keep up the good work, ali x

Ali, Thanks so much for your positive feedback :) It is always encouraging to hear. I have added your suggestion to my list of podcasts to do… it is a great suggestion. I will expand on using the HRM to guide training for optimum results; does this sound ok to you?

Hi Beti
I also tend to do only classes – thanks for the reminder that I need to add some true resistance training. BodyPump tries to do that with pushups to failure, but it’s not enough. Now to develop a once-a-week resistance training program…
I listened to podcast 054, but it seems to be corrupted and stops before the end. :(
Keep up the good work!
