Just listened to the podcast and thought it was a good overview for those not blogging for health and fitness already.
Mine is less structured but does have weekly weight loss (or gain sometimes) and what training I have done. It also includes reports from any races and football (soccer) that I take part in and occasionally includes some photos.
I find it good motivation to write down what you have done or not as the case may be. As people are reading it you know you have to take some action to correct any problem areas with your health and fitness that you posted about.
