Unfortunately, I dont have any _weird_ sunburn stories to tell… just the usual beach stories…
I do however, know this friend of a friend of a friend that was once burned very badly in a very uncomfortable place…(And no, it wasn’t the back of a Volkswagen!)

Went to the cricket in 2004 - one day match - 11pm that night when I arrived home I realised my face looked more like a hydroponic tomato than skin - payed for it the next few days!! Not good - wear a hat to the cricket and get a spray tan from Beti!

I don’t want to win this competition because I live in Byron Bay, but I would like to tell you about a friend of mine that came to Australia first time ever, from European winter to our summer. In Europe the sun is nowhere as strong as here, so even though we worned him, he lay on the beach for 4 hours to get some color “quickly”.
Well, he got his wish - it was so “quick” he spent his next 2 days in hospital on pain killers, and the rest of his 2 week holidays at home in agony.
Give me spray tan any time.
