Many people join gyms in a hope to lose fat and tone up, but soon realise that their life commitments inhibit them from going as often as they like or just eat nutritionally empty foods. I find that the main culprit is Mr Tired. People have been working all day and when they get home they simply want to relax because they are tired. This is where the ‘psychological’ part is important. You need to ‘psych yourself in’ to going to the gym, not ‘psych yourself out’.
