beti says > Several years ago, when I was a young new starter in the Personal Training scene, I got a client who, let’s just say, had a very negative approach to health and fitness. I checked her blood pressure prior to commencing her exercise program and it was sky high. After telling her she needed medical clearance to proceed, she was so angry with me saying (yelling), “I have had high blood pressure for 20 years, there is nothing you can do to fix it, I have been on every pill on the market. After getting the med clearance we began training. Her doctor had requested she go back after a couple of weeks for a check up to ensure that she was ok with the new edition of exercise in her lifestyle.

About 2-3 few weeks later (it didn’t take that long) she came up to me nearly in tears. She had just gone to see the doctor, he took her blood pressure. For the first time in 20 years, her blood pressure was normal! All she needed was a bit of exercise!
